Before seeking out online answers to my exchange issues with my droid i spoke with a rep @ teh verizon wireless kiosk @ my local mall & he informed me of another guy same issues that found "touchdown" in the marketplace. I immediately sought it out & installed & the set up was a breeze (similar to what the writer posted) HOWEVER, after everything synced up, I had complete access to my contacts, calendar & sent items folder, my inbox folder was completely empty, I sought support from "nitrodesk" publisher of aforementioned software & they sent me an email with step by step guide to running & exporting a diagnostics log which i then sent to their support team for review. I got a response from their guys that i had some fatal inbox error & to consult my IT guys who've been trying to figure thsi thing out with me ever since I got my droid 3 weeks ago & was having the exact same issues with google's built in e-mail client. With all that said, I don't want to give up on droid as i love this phone & it rocks but I can't afford to lose anymore productivity when mobile. Has anyone else had thsi issue? If so, any solutions to offer would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for the post but still can't get my corp mail going. Had my IT prof. in today and he spent about 6 hours off and on and could not get it working. Called Verizon and they were as helpful as you would expect. Any thoughts i would be glad to listen.

this post has convinced me droid is a phone i can use. i have been wary of purchasing the droid because of its lack of exchange functionality. now i feel comfortable with purchasing it. thanks a ton!

My SVP of IT actually got the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G and I found this product for him as well. Took a little to get it going but seems rock solid. I also found another promising product made by Moxier. I have not tried moxier but the interface looks clean and very Googlish looking. I am planning to get the Droid next month and based on this post will decide between Nitrodesk and Moxier Mail. http://www.moxier.com/mail/
